Inconel 783 / Alloy 783 / UNS R30783
An oxidation resistant low coefficient of thermal expansion (low CTE) superalloy developed for gas turbine applications.
The alloy is strengthened by a precipitation-hardening heat treatment made possible by additions of niobium and aluminum. In addition, the aluminum content provides excellent resistance to oxidation at high temperature.
The alloy’s density is 5% less than those of superalloys such as INCONEL alloy 718. The combination of low expansion, high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation makes the alloy especially useful for gas turbine and steam turbine components.
The low expansion enables closer control of clearances and tolerances for greater power output and fuel efficiency.

Inconel – Nickel Dependent Super Alloy – 600, 625, 718, X-750 Qualities and Programs August 2013 Inconel is a tremendous alloy and mixes effectively with Copper. Inconel arrives in a lot of varieties: Round Bar, Plate, Sheet, Pipe, Tube. Inconel is hard to machine for the reason that it perform hardens, Inconel 625 can be welded a bit.
This is our 4000 watt Co2 laser slicing process. We can cut Stainless Steel and alloys to .five hundred”, Steel and metal alloys to .750″ and aluminum to .375″. Equally our devices have big bed dimensions, just one is sixty” x 120″ and the 3000 watt is seventy eight” x 157″. Equally devices have automatic loading and shuttle tables for prototyping to manufacturing.
